Brian Babinec’s documentary filmmaking debut, Preservation Society, premiered on streaming and VHS on February 7th, 2025. The 41-minute film follows Daniel Martini, also known as Quaad, as he stakes out his corner of an underground music genre. In his pursuit to maintain classic techniques, he navigates old school music production hardware, soundsystems, starting his own record label, and the connection between all three.
